Brian Reese, CMCA, AMS, PCAM
Brian received his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice / Business Management from Old Dominion University in 1985.
With over 27 years of experience in the common interest community field, Brian is one of the most experienced
and knowledgeable professionals in the Commonwealth. A long time member of the Community Association Institute,
Brian currently serves on several Chapter Committees as well as the Virginia Legislative Action Committee.
He has formal training in mediation and earned the Professional Community Association Manager designation in 2005.
He is also co-founder of the Chesapeake Bay Area Manager's Association. Brian, his wife Jennifer and five children
live in the Great Neck area of Virginia Beach with their Great Dane Cleopatra and mixed-mutt Ziggy.Executive Vice President, Director of Community Development 757-284-6164 BReese@CMAcondos.com Chris O'Hare completed twenty years of military service in the Navy with an expertise in navigation, operation schedules, procurement and training. Since his retirement from military service his career has been in community management. Chris assists community association residents and board of director members in understanding their roles with in the community. An active member of Community Association Institute (CAI) he is a Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA) and has earned his Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation. He volunteers on the Program Committee for the Southeastern Chapter of CAI, SEVA and participates in chapter events. Chris has ten years of experience in homeowners associations (HOA's), high-rise building management, condominiums and commercial office space. Currently Chris is serving as Association Manager for Courthouse Estates Community Association in Virginia Beach.
Judy Moncovich, CMCA
Judy has been a Community Association Professional for more than 7 years and has recently earned her Certified Manager
of Community Association (CMCA). She is currently working toward her Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation.
Her keen ability to interact with board members is second to none and her efforts are geared towards a working and
productive board of directors as well as the individual homeowner. Judy's dedication to Community Association Institute (CAI)
is paramount to insure she has the highest quality involvement within the Association Management profession.
She is the Trade Show Chairperson for CA Day 2009 and also serves on the Membership Committee. Judy has two sons and

Valerie Serrette, CMCA, AMS
Val has more than twelve (12) years of experience in the Community Association Management industry. She has managed
Condominiums, Mixed-Use Buildings and Homeowners Associations. In her time employed in this industry, she has been an
Association Manager, Senior Association Manager, Team Leader and now an Assistant Director of the newly opened Suffolk Office.
Valerie was awarded the Outstanding and Dedicated Services Award from the Burbage Grant Owner's Association 2002.
She is also a recipient of the CAI Volunteer Member of the Year Award 2003, Committee of the Year Award 2004, CA Day
Committee Chairperson Award 2004, Community Association of the Year Committee Award 2004 and served on the Currents News
Magazine Committee in 2006. She has taught classes for the SEVA-CAI Trade Show 2004 and 2006. She served on the CAI 2008
Programs Committee and the 2008 CA Day Trade Show Committee. She is also one of the co-chairs for the Vendors Reception
for the SEVA-CAI 2009 Educational Trade Show and will be serving on the CAI Programs Committee for 2009. Valerie has
served on the SEVA-CAI Trade Show Committee since 1996. She also volunteers her services as a proctor for the M100 Exam
given by CAI. Valerie and her husband Carl reside in the Harbour View area of Suffolk and love worshipping the LORD together. She is a native of Virginia Beach and recently moved to the Courtland, Virginia area. She has two adult children. She enjoys spending time with her family, 10 year old Maine Coon cat, singing with the Choir at church, gardening, and the outdoors during the spring and summer time seasons. Sara is a native of Virginia Beach and is currently a member of a common interest community at the Oceanfront where she resides with her husband and son. Sara has over five years of experience in Resort, Single Family Home and Common Interest Community Management. She holds the CMCA and AMS designations and furthers her knowledge through continued education combined with professional practical experience. Sara is working towards obtaining the PCAM designation as well as raising the Common Interest Community Management standards. She is an active member of CAI and is credited with assisting the local chapter in organizing the 2009 CA Day. Sara possesses a strong sense of dedication to the associations she manages with high emphasis on professionalism and customer service. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Communications / Business Management from IUP (Indiana University of Pennsylvania) in 2002 Jason moved to Virginia Beach and accepted his first job as a Portfolio Manager. A licensed Realtor, and a resident of a common interest community, Jason quickly learned the many aspects of community association living from a variety of perspectives. Jason is a member of CAI, the SEVA Membership Committee and is accredited the CMCA designation. With more than 4 years in the community association business, Jason is a young, eager and valued member of our staff. He and his wife Jen live near the oceanfront and close to many of the communities he manages. Tony joined the team at Continental Management Associates in 2006. He comes with 10 years of experience in the construction industry and three years experience in the graphic arts field. Tony received his Bachelor's Degree in History from Old Dominion University in 1999. He is a member of CAI and has received his CMCA certification. He is a native of Virginia Beach and currently resides in the Hilltop area of Virginia Beach. Emil joined the CMA staff in 2008 as the General Manager of an Oceanfront high-rise condominium. Originally from Yerevan, Armenia, Emil moved to the United States in 2002. Virginia Beach has become his hometown since then. Emil has a Bachelor's degree in linguistics and speaks 4 languages. He has a background in hospitality industry and real estate. Emil is a licensed realtor, a member of HRRA, VAR, NAR and is actively pursuing his CMCA designation. Meagan received her bachelors in Sports Management with a minor in Journalism from Lynchburg College in 2003 and her masters in Sports Leadership from VCU in 2004. She has been with CMA for more than three years. Meagan and her husband Ray live in the Towne Center Area of Virginia Beach. Jennifer has just recently joined the team at Continental Management Associates. She comes to us with over 5 years of experience in property and community management. She is a Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA). Karen has a 33-year career in account management which included general management, consulting and entrepreneurial experience with major regional building developers, military and government accounts along with record and book keeping for numerous local Hampton Roads businesses. Karen directs and oversees condominium and homeowner association financing and accounting. She is originally from Colorado, married to Bart for 35 years has 2 grown children. She enjoys attending car shows, NASCAR, walking their dogs Bearz and Abby. Abby was born and lived most of his life in Brooklyn N.Y. The father of 4 with most of my family living in the NYC area, Abby has been in Virginia Beach since 2003 avoiding the extreme cold and snow. He has worked in public accounting and in private industry as a controller and manager before going into my own business in 1996. Since moving here he has worked in the condominium and HOA management field, first as a manager and then back to the accounting end of the business. He is a graduate of Long Island University with a B. S. in Accounting and Business. Van was raised on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and made her way to the Hampton Roads area to attend Norfolk State University. During that time her career began in the banking industry in which she gained over twenty years of experience, leading to a managerial level. After leaving banking in 2007, she decided to use her expertise as an Accounting Assistant for Continental Management Associates. She enjoys walking for exercise and relaxation, planting flowers and doing yard work. She also enjoys shopping and looking for a yard sales. |
